The 150th Year
We celebrated the Sesquicentennial Year of 2007 with special anniversary highlights of Elim Baptist Church every month.
The Sesquicentennial Committee has been detailing the history of Elim Baptist Church from a variety of perspectives. Stories and photographs have been collected with the help of the congregation. We continue to encourage those members who have stories and photographs of Elim Church history to contact us.

The Sesquicentennial (150 years) Celebrations Committee needs your help in the quest for treasured stories and photographs pertaining to the lives of the people of Elim Baptist Church for the last 150 years. If you have any funny stories, wonderful REMEMBRANCES, pictures, or other items of interest, please send them to us and your tidbits will be posted. Names can be changed or omitted if you prefer to remain anonymous. Please put "150th Celebration" in the subject line.
We also would like stories and pictures of present day contributions of our members because the birthday celebrations is to the present time. As families donate their rich heritage within Elim Baptist Church to the sesquicentennial committee members, information will be added to the website and stored in the history archives.
