Voicing Our Appreciation
The fifth month of the Church’s Birthday Year, we will highlight the women of the church. It is the time to gather the stories of the women of Elim Baptist Church who have gone before us and record some of the inspiring words of wisdom and identify the nurturing gifts given to us. We would like to name all the women who have utilized their spiritual gifts in ministry and whose faithful service has made a difference in the church's life. We want to learn something about the strength and courage of the women during the past 150 years. To be able to do this, we are requesting pictures both past and present and heartwarming stories related to the women of the church.
