Visiting a new church can be intimidating: What should I wear? Where do my kids go?
In order to help you feel more comfortable when you visit, we have tried to answer some questions you may have in advance. If you choose to worship with us, there will be people available to assist you. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
Our worship services are on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
On Sunday mornings our worship team leads the service which includes modern Christian music, in an effort to draw people into meaningful worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our goal is to encourage each person to join in worship of God through the power of His Spirit. The music in our Sunday evening service includes more traditional hymns. No matter the style or preference, it's all about Jesus! Preaching is grounded in solid, Biblical teaching to help each one of us get to who God is and how we can live for Him.
We are not as concerned about how you look as we are about you getting to know God better. If you prefer dressy, business, or casual attire, chances are there will be others dressed much like you no matter when you visit. No matter what your personal style, we think you will be comfortable at Elim. Sure, Sunday mornings are a time some prefer to dress up a bit, but even if jeans are more your style, you should feel right at home with us. Naturally, Sunday and Wednesday evenings are slightly more casual than Sunday morning, but you are welcome to dress up for these if you prefer.
You are more than welcome to bring your children into the worship services, however, we have the perfect place for your children - babies through second grade - to go while you attend service. Nursery is provided for infants and toddlers up through 2 years of age. We have two children's church groups which take place during our morning worship service at 11:00: one for children three years old through Kindergarten age, and the other for 1st and 2nd graders. You can find more information about our Nursery & Preschool and also our Children ministries under the Ministries tab which you can find on the navigation menu at the top of this page.
We are located at 6650 Elim Church Road across from Davenport Acres in Long county, approximately 1/2 mile from Celebration Castle. For driving directions, click on the Directions tab located near the top of this page on the right.
